I am S.Maglene Preethi and I am proud to say that I was the first admission of this prestigious institution.HIMS is the reason for my academic excellence right from the beginning of my school days to becoming a University Rank holder in my PG degree. In addition to honing my intellect, HIMS has also provided me a strong foundation for developing moral, social and self disciplinary values. The entire management of HIMS and my experience there hold a special place and give me beautiful memories to cherish all my life.
Hi my name is Dr. Sukumar Palani MBBS (General Practitioner) . Am a proud alumni of Holy Immanuel Matriculation School. I did my schooling all the way from LKG to 10th standard in HIMS.The standard of education In HIMS is top notch. HIMS does not only provide an educational career but it also focuses on making a student excel in all fields by often organising several extracurricular activities and competitions like sports, dance, quiz, etc. This brings out the student's individual talent to the open world . The atmosphere of the school campus is so student friendly and maintained in a disciplined manner. The teachers and the Principal of the school are so dedicated in their respective fields . My schooling in Holy Immanuel are golden days with golden memories that would never fade away as they treat each and every student as their own children . The uniqueness of HIMS is making sure that students knows the importance of behaviour and discipline because there is a proverb saying that " your real education is seen in your behaviour "
One of the most interesting stages in life that gives you an opportunity to learn is one's school life. Achievements-applauds, opportunities-thoughts, this is what I gained from "HIMS". It gave me a platform that I will cherish always. Some days I won and some days I learned. It has always held my back, from inspiring words of many teachers to petty sweet scoldings of my beloved teachers. This school made me the person I am today. When a sculptor beats around a stone to make a sculpture, it might look like he is wasting his time but the final product will always be worthy of it. Likewise, my journey in this school, not only taught me lessons from books but also prepared me and sculptured me into the person I am today to learn the lessons of life. I am forever grateful to this place that always brings a smile from my heart with evergreen memories lingering with it.
It gives me immense pleasure to share memories of my school life @HIMS. I look back at 12 years of my school life with joy and gratitude. I will forever be grateful to our principal and all my teachers, who mentored and imbibed good values and helped to develop my skills. We are lucky enough to be part of our school from its time of inception. Due to steer efforts and giant steps of HIMS management, we witnessed the growth of our school to greater heights in a short span of time. HIMS had enlightened the lives of many students till now,I feel happy to be one among them. My heartiest wishes to HIMS management to grow and achieve greater heights.
Hello readers, I am Sukumar Raj, alumnus from HIMS school, who has spent most of my childhood and adolescent days, fondly remembering those days and cherishing the memories that have traveled along with me. I love my school for several reasons, smart uniforms, English proficiency of teachers, involving all kids in extra curricular activities, coaching patiently to nurture every student to be able to dream big and the list can go on. I am forever indebted to my Alma mater for restoring a strong foundation, for me to transpire my dreams into reality. Reflecting on the 12 years (L.K.G to Grade 10) I spent at HIMS, I have come to realize how fortunate I was to attend the school. I was blessed to have been surrounded by my dear Principal madam Mrs.Josephine Stalin and Mr.Stalin , teachers and Friends who cared and supported for each other in and out of academics. HIMS’s strong, consistent curriculum and dedicated faculty was a bedrock foundation that prepared me for facing the challenges in my current career and life. Apart from academics, we also had plethora of activities which lead to development of my leadership potential and other aspects of character development like ethics and respect for others. I am confident that those formative years at HIMS has prepared me to succeed as a person and as a educator.
“Spend the years in classroom dreaming! Years down the line classroom itself became a dream!” School time has had to be the fun part, but equally an important juncture in our life. So when you look back on your class photograph, you smell the nostalgic scent of all the tiny bits of fun that turned into a ball of amusement. The fact is that the ball has rolled downhill a lot quicker than you foresaw it to be, which saddens a part of us. The school memories left an eternal impact on me as I have fond memories of learning and unlearning things. During school days, my teachers used to insist that, being a good student is not concerned solely with exceeding in academics, but it is also of indulging with good principles and values. I carry those values to date and I am forever grateful to them for aiding me to become a person I am today. I would like to thank, Principal Madam, for proffering me an opportunity to write down the above, which took me back down the memory lane and replenish those moments.
Holy Immanuel is one of the best schools around Chennai, which helps students to learn lots of new innovative thoughts. Teachers are very helpful to succeed in exams with good marks. They helped me a lot to be a topper in my SSLC. Holy Immanuel never failed to give excellent results every year with high scoring marks. Head Mistress madam made special arrangements for special classes for the board exam students which was a great initiative from the management side.
